IEl estilo colombiano o salsa caleña proviene del estilo cubano. Los movimientos de la pareja se hacen manteniéndose en un lugar, mientras que el estilo caleño de la salsa se caracteriza por la velocidad de los pies, los movimientos sexy del cuerpo y las más espectaculares figuras acrobáticas
